API Services & YouTube Disclosures

Stoneclad Media operates internal publishing tools that use YouTube API Services to upload and manage podcast episode videos on our clients' own YouTube channels, with each client's explicit authorization via Google OAuth. By authorizing our tools, users also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What we access and store: when a client authorizes our tools, we store the OAuth refresh token Google issues (encrypted, on infrastructure we control) and the identifiers of videos we upload on the client's behalf. We use this access solely to publish and manage the client's own content — episode video, title, description, thumbnail, captions, and playlist placement. We do not access viewer data, do not display YouTube data to third parties, and do not sell or share any API-derived data.

Revoking access: a client can revoke our tools' access to their Google account at any time via Google security settings. Upon revocation or the end of an engagement, we delete stored tokens. For any questions or data-deletion requests relating to our use of YouTube API Services, contact michael@stonecladmedia.com.
